Second place to 'Nut Addict. One of our favourite native birds in a well composed shot.  Third: 'Chestnut backed scimitar babbler - little bird at san diego zoo shows where the scimitar part of the name comes from!' The sharpness and pose gives this shot so much character.  Fourth: 'And now for my next trick' Lovely picture showing the pleasure the birds are giving to the next generation of bird lovers.  Fifth: 'Taken at Caerphilly Castle. The grid is the water filter in the Moat of the castle. The nest is under the grid!!' Lovely capture of the interaction between parent and newly fledged youngster.
